A Smile Makeover Built Around You
A smile makeover can be as simple as brightening your teeth or as comprehensive as combining several treatments to address the appearance and function of your smile.
At Dr. Joe Dental Group, we take the time to understand what you want to change and evaluate your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health before recommending treatment. Your plan may involve one service or several, depending on your needs and goals.
From veneers and whitening to crowns, dental implants, and Invisalign, we offer a range of options to help you create a smile that looks natural and works well with your features.
What Is a Smile Makeover?
A smile makeover is a personalized treatment plan that combines one or more cosmetic, restorative, or orthodontic services to address specific concerns about your smile.
Every smile makeover is different. Some patients may want to brighten their teeth or address a few minor imperfections, while others may need restorative treatment to replace missing or damaged teeth before focusing on cosmetic improvements.
Our approach begins with an evaluation of your oral health and a conversation about what you want to achieve. From there, we can recommend appropriate treatment options and explain how they may work together.

Your Smile Makeover Options
Your treatment plan may include one or more of the following services:
Teeth Whitening
Professional teeth whitening can help reduce certain types of tooth discoloration and brighten your smile. It can be a simple option for refreshing the appearance of otherwise healthy teeth.
Veneers
Veneers are thin, custom-made restorations that cover the front surfaces of selected teeth. They may be used to address concerns such as discoloration, chips, gaps, and uneven tooth shapes.
Dental Bonding
Dental bonding uses tooth-coloured composite material to make certain minor cosmetic changes to the shape or appearance of teeth. It can be a more conservative option for selected chips, gaps, and other imperfections.
Crowns & Bridges
Crowns can restore damaged or weakened teeth, while bridges can replace one or more missing teeth. Both can support the function and appearance of your smile as part of a broader restorative or cosmetic treatment plan.
Dental Implants
Dental implants can replace missing teeth and provide a stable foundation for restorations such as crowns. They can help restore chewing function while supporting the structure of your smile.
Invisalign
Invisalign clear aligners can gradually move teeth to address certain alignment and bite concerns. For patients who want to improve the position of their teeth as part of a smile makeover, Invisalign may be incorporated into the overall treatment plan.
Injectables
For patients interested in a broader facial aesthetic treatment plan, injectables may also be considered. Depending on your goals, treatment can be used to address areas around the lips or help reduce the appearance of a gummy smile.
Injectable treatments are optional and can be discussed as part of your overall aesthetic goals.
Planning Your Smile Makeover
A thoughtful smile makeover starts with understanding what is already working well and what you want to change. During your consultation, we’ll consider:
- The health of your teeth and gums
- The condition of existing restorations
- Your bite and tooth alignment
- The color, shape, and proportions of your teeth
- Your facial features and overall smile
- Your treatment goals
- The treatments that may be appropriate for your needs
Some treatments may need to happen before others. For example, existing decay or gum concerns should be addressed before beginning cosmetic treatment, while orthodontic or restorative care may need to be planned in a particular order.
We’ll explain the recommended approach, so you understand why each treatment is included.
Digital Technology for Personalized Treatment
Digital technology plays an important role in how we plan and create certain dental restorations.
Our use of inLab technology supports the digital design and customization of restorations such as veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant restorations. This gives our team and dental laboratory detailed digital information to work from when developing your treatment.
We also use CEREC technology for eligible restorations, allowing certain ceramic crowns to be designed and fabricated in-house.
Cosmetic Changes, Restorative Solutions, and More
A smile makeover does not always mean changing every aspect of your smile. In many cases, a focused treatment can address the concern that bothers you most.
Some patients may benefit from whitening alone. Others may need a combination of orthodontic, restorative, and cosmetic services to achieve their goals. Our comprehensive approach allows us to consider the full picture and recommend treatment based on your oral health and the changes you actually want to make.
If you’re considering a change to your smile, book a consultation to discuss what may be possible.

It can. Some smile makeovers involve restorative or orthodontic treatment that addresses damaged, missing, or misaligned teeth. Improving these concerns may support chewing, bite function, and oral hygiene in addition to changing the appearance of your smile.
Treatment is planned around your existing teeth, facial features, and goals. Our approach is to create restorations and cosmetic changes that work with your smile rather than applying the same design to every patient.
